New: Magnus Electric Chord Organ for Kontakt

Magnus is the Kontakt sample player of the Magnus Electric Chord Organ that can be used in almost any daw. All keys were sampled in two layers round robin (i.e. two samples per note) and carefully looped.

The Magnus type 2437 was originally an instrument from the sixties made by the Magnus company. It's sound is produced by air and tongues and sounds like an accordeon or melodica. The real instrument sounds rather noisy, the Kontakt version does not (in the video you can see how that was done).

The Magnus comes with five presets: one mono preset with two layers round robin, and four stereo presets with a variation in release time.

The Magnus chromatic samples can be played between F2 and C6. The minor chords can be played between D0 and C1, the major between D2 and C2. If you want to hear its original noice, just press C0!

A tremolo effect can be added via the modulation wheel. With the pitch bender you can control volume (up for more, down for less).
